## What you enter

Setup takes a few minutes and asks only for what a personal reading needs. Your answers are saved as you go, so you can pause and return in the same browser.

- Your birth date, as the local date where you were born (no time zone conversion).
- Your birth city, chosen from the list. If your town is missing, choose the nearest listed town.
- Your birth time if you know it. Choose I know it, Roughly, or Not sure; you never have to invent an exact time.
- Answers about your current priorities and tendencies. They are not a test and there are no right answers.
- Sex recorded at birth, and an email address you can access, which you confirm to open your Preview. You can use a nickname or skip the name step.

## If you do not know your birth time

You can still get a Preview. Choose Roughly and give your closest estimate, or choose Not sure and give a rough part of the day or skip it. Setup may offer a few comparisons about your past to help narrow the hour; answer only the ones you recognize, and choose uncertain or skip for the rest.

Everything that does not depend on the hour is covered as usual. With an estimated time, hour-dependent details may be less precise, and a few finer timing features wait until you add a recorded time.

If you later find a recorded time (a long-form birth certificate, a hospital record, or a baby book), you can correct it in settings. Birth-time corrections are available once every 365 days, so check the details before confirming.
